I am Holding Up

It took me quite a while to get back on my feet since the demise of my beloved father.

Everyone worries about me because I looked rather fine with the shock. I sincerely appreciate all the warmth and concern from each and every one of you. However it is just personal to me and I do not prefer expressing them in the way people expect I would.

I mourn his depart with silence and I remember him with smile.

Life has never been easy.

But I keep working on it.

I want him to be proud of me, like he always have, even after he is gone.

When I lost my mother, I was very sad. But I held my head high and smiled, she would rather me smile than be sad. I move forward with more determination to make people smile in life. It is to short to be stressed, sad or depressed. When I die, I would rather people smile than be sad.

Yes Brian. We may mourn the demise, but whether or not doing it with sadness and tears is an option. I do it the way like yours.
