Do you feel the heat? Are you aware of the hours that you stay indoor in air-conditioned room is more these days than ever? You know what, that is the consequence of the damage we have done to the mother earth.
We all think life is supposed to be the more convenient the better, the more comfortable the happier. Just the time when we enjoy so much of innovations and things that make our lives easier we are repaying this big habitat of ours, which happen to be available free, with our ungrateful actions and no gratitude's attitudes.
We kill the oxygen supply because we want more space to live in (where all we occupied for sleep is still that one bed of Queen-sized the most) until we slowly run out of breath, we chuck our rubbishes into rivers and eventually flow into the big ocean to contaminate the water until we get less and less sea catchings, we dispose a lot a lot of waste gas into the air and thicken the ozone layer to capture more heat until to got ourselves cooked; and at the same time we melted the snow and iceberg around the world to create more flood to flush us away.
We are doing harm to the planet everyday without realizing how big the impact could be. Everyone is more in worry about the global economy crisis nowadays than concerning about the air we breath, the food we eat, the water we drink and the environment we live in.
If you think this is simply a big hoo-ha to grab attention or a distraction to get your eyes away from economy, imagine the world that you aren't living long enough to see but your future generations going to live in.
This 28th (Saturday) your local time 8.30pm-9.30pm, show your concern and awareness towards mother earth. With an hour of power off, you can make the difference. Questioning "I am just one person, what can I do to help against global warming"? Think about the power when all one individual is united and gathered together...
In support of World's Earth Hour...
Like my friend said, "see you in the dark!"
